Brokerage Services
Although we are an asset-based motor carrier and freight forwarder, at times we find the need to look outside our system for needed equipment. Client requirements do not always remain static. When change occurs and PLC does not have the right equipment available due to size or location of product, our brokerage division then utilizes its extensive transportation management capabilities. We work with hundreds of experienced, dependable partner carriers each having to meet our exacting criteria. PLC can provide seamless and timely movement of your oversized or specialty product. Regional and long haul lanes are managed through our carefully selected partners and other transport vendors.
Expo Services
Shipping trade show materials is like aiming for a moving target. Shows set up for a few days and move on, not unlike the circus. But one call to PLC’s Trade Show Division and we can advise you of a "safe" window within which to ship for your specific show for penalty-free move-in. PLC has the transportation resources and the experience to make sure that your booth shows up for each show in a timely manner. Our professional staff is attentive in coordinating with your exhibit personnel to ensure your booth doesn’t go to the wrong trucking company post-show and then shipped for ransom-high rates.
